Big Red Rosie

Climbed the Rainbowbridge

Big Red Rosie over 20 years old 18 years
in my daily care. Loved to play and climb. Leaves behind her son Teddy (see 3rd photo), sister Princess and niece Smokey plus a few kitty cousins.

Her brother 22 years ago was given an indoor home. She did not get along with him so she was tossed out and she moved several streets down. I adopted her and a few other others that welcomed her into their community. Everyone was fixed, given their vaccinations and given daily food, water, treats and even toys to play with when they were little. Outdoor shelters and access to a friend's basement was the best I could do for this little group of community cats of which Rosie was the oldest.

It warms my heart and soul to see them greet me and want a pet or head rub before they even eat. Big Red loved to climb and I'm sure she didn't run across the rainbow bridge, she climbed it! She also says a big meow thank you to the staff of Novi that helped her passing be pain-free and loving and comfortable.

Big Reds message is that all pets lives matter! Show kindness, share and of course enjoy life.
