Loss
Grumpy was a really great cat. He was my “enforcer” of my other cats.
He kept the peace. He was very laid-back. He came such a long way from when he first arrived on my back porch. I couldn’t even touch him. Slowly I gained his trust and I could scratch his head. It took maybe 2 years for him to climb onto my lap.
I had him a wonderful 6 ish years. I know he was grateful, and happy.
This last year he actually made it into the house for the winter. He was very content being indoors. Gave him the option if he wanted to go back out. He never did.
I miss him very much.
