Meet Our Team

Erin Menko

Erin graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associates of Applied Science from the Veterinary Technology Program in 1998. She received her LVT shortly thereafter.

Erin has worked in the veterinary field since age 14. Prior to joining AEC, Erin had 4 years of previous emergency experience, and also worked with an internal medicine specialist for almost 2 years. She was a day practice technician for over 8 years.

"It brings me joy to work with a group at AEC that has such compassion for animals as well as the skills to be able to do what is needed when the time arrives for the patients needing critical care. I enjoy bringing my skills to AEC and working with such a caring compasionate group."

Erin has two children, one dog - Peanut, and three kitties: Tyson, Duff, and Roscoe (two of which are blood donors for AEC). Erin is working towards her certification in emergency veterinary medicine, and also has an interest in continuous education and potentially additional formal training with exotic species.
