Max
10/19/15 - AEC Novi
AEC is a godsend -- I had my Max to your facility twice while I had him. This last time was not how I had hoped it would go for Max -- he was diagnosed with diabetes, and his regular vet who saw him the next day and prescribed his insulin, etc. was the best too. However, after only 2 weeks, Max was dealing with Cushing's Disease, and doing very poorly - I had to make the decision to have him put down on 10/9/15. If I had not got Max to AEC on 9/27, he would have gone into a diabetic coma and died. At least I gave him a couple more weeks with me, in his yard, enjoying the sunshine as he did, and just resting and sleeping. I am grateful to AEC and to Dr. Duncan who took care of Max. I could call any time while he was there to check on him, they let me know how he was doing. I just wish my Max could have "beat" Cushing's, but that's not the norm. I miss my Max deeply and always will. - Max's Owner [Avg. Score: 4.8]
