I was only blessed to have known you for a short time. But in that short time, I fell in love with your being. When we first met, you were afraid of me. But I waited for you. And within no time you came to me and felt the love I had for you at even such an early stage. You were always with me. I watched you grow into the silly playful angel you are. From when you're too sleepy to walk to when you're too excited to sit still. I loved you at every moment. The way you'd look at me. The way you'd run to me when I came home from being away too long. It's hard coming home now. I still see you. I only wish I was able to sense your sickness earlier. I wish I could've been there with you through all of it.. Even your last breathe. More than anything I wish I could've been there to say goodbye. To send you off with one last hug. One last kiss. At the least I know that you're not suffering anymore. You're not hurting anymore. I know you're having the time of your life. With all the chew toys your little spirit can handle. I love you baby and I'll always love you.
