Cashew Pishko
After a quick swim in our pool, Cashew was in distress. On the direction of my Oncology vet, Cashew was rushed to AEC for emergency surgery for a twisted stomach. While he pulled through the surgery, his body was just not able to recover. On July 7, 2015, Cashew's suffering was over - and he crossed over to the Rainbow.
Cashew, beautiful Golden Retriever would have been 10 on July 21. He was a very sweet dog, and loved everyone that he met. He loved to swim in the pool and he had to have a special ball from H2O. He loved to go for walks. When he saw another dog coming, he had to say Hello. Unlike other dogs, his visit with other dogs was a sniff and then he was off. He was a dog that would carry shoes around the house when he was happy to see you or grab your arm if there wasn't a shoe. Cashew warmed your heart every time you saw him. He loved to sit in the middle of everything just to be with everyone.
Our Cashew left us too soon, but we know that he is healthy and happy. I know that he is with us every day. We go for walks and a jump in the pool together!
