Bernie

03/15/2026 - AEC Rochester

We were in Troy for an event and Bernie apparently ingested some weed while walking outside the hotel in the dark. I didn't realize what had happened, and took him to AEC when he presented as lethargic, wobbling, and generally not himself (this is not normally a puppy with an "off switch"). The staff were very nice, quickly diagnosed the problem, reassured me, and cared for Bernie. I loved the fact that some of the staff members came out to the lobby and played with him while I was getting checked out. Everybody was very sweet, and I'm pretty sure Bernie thinks he just spent the early a.m. hour with a bunch of new friends. :-D Thank you to everyone! By mid-day on Saturday he'd mostly returned to normal, and he's completely his normal bouncy self now. - Bernie's Owner [Avg. Score: 5.0 ]
