How to Pay using Care Credit

If you are planning to use CareCredit to pay for your pet’s visit, please be aware that CareCredit requires the cardholder to be present to physically sign an authorization for payment. If the cardholder is unable to sign in person, there are two other options for authorization:

1. Online Payment via 'Pay My Provider'

You can pay AEC online with your existing CareCredit card via the CareCredit website (this is a service being offered to AEC customers via CareCredit):

AEC can text the cardholder the link below to pay online through the CareCredit “Pay My Provider” website. This allows the cardholder to do a mandatory e-signature. Our text will include the AEC invoice number and payment amount due.

Alternately, the cardholder can call CareCredit during their business hours and identify the name of the person that will picking up the pet, and request that they be added as an authorized user. This process only takes a few minutes, but it must be completed prior to making final payment so we may discharge the pet from our hospital.

2. Add an authorized user to your CareCredit account.

The cardholder can call CareCredit during their business hours and identify the name of the person that will picking up the pet, and request that they be added as an authorized user. This process only takes a few minutes, but it must be completed prior to making final payment so we may discharge the pet from our hospital.

Note for NEW CareCredit applicants:

If you a first-time CareCredit user, it is best to screenshot or write down all of your card information so you will have everything needed when it is time to check out. You will need your Card Number, Expiration Date, and Security code.
