Boomer
I was so fortunate to have this friend in my life for the last 20 years. He was supportive and loving through every move, smile, tear, life event and change. And, yes, he really did have nine lives. He was tough. This little guy was with me for at least 12 houses (helping to make each one feel more like home); he was there for the birth of both of my daughters (letting them hug him, kiss him, squeeze him, and dress him up- all without fuss); he adapted to and played with new puppies, even as they dragged him around by his tail; when others came and went- he stayed; and he appeared every time I needed him. I never knew cats to be ‘aloof;’ he wasn’t. Boomer was dependable and constant. He loved us, we loved him, he was a part of my family, and he will be missed.
Thank you the staff, nurses and doctors at AEC for showing Boomer and me so much kindness during his final hours. Thank you for letting him know how loved he was, and thank you for the card that you sent thinking of us and remembering him.
