If I could have rated my entire experience higher than 5, I would have. I can not say enough great things about our experience with the Novi team. We had an emergency with our Golden Retriever Kallie on Christmas Eve and while we had to make the decision to let her go (she had failed in health due to previous cancer diagnosis), I can not say enough great things about the staff and the compassion they demonstrated. While things were confusing that night and I don't remember names of the medical team that assisted us, I hope the leadership at AEC can recognize the specific techs and doctor that helped us. I do want to especially recognize the techs (1 male,1 female) who came to our car to transport Kallie - they were so sweet and gentle with her. The male tech stayed with Kallie through the entire process and he certainly is in the right profession! He was extremely compassionate and patient. I also want to recognize the doc who treated Kallie - she was very thorough and explained the current health situation and our options extremely well. The doc was also very caring, empathetic and gentle. The process of evaluation was smooth and quick and we had plenty of time to spend with our "baby" before saying the final goodbye.
