Shadow
We brought our beloved Shadow in after he was unable to move following a good run in the woods. Come to find out he had a tumor and was bleeding internally.
The staff at the emergency center was so amazing! They were honest, kind, and understanding and allowed us to be with him in his last hours.
It was so sudden for us and he was our best friend. We had him since he was 5 wks old and he was now almost 13.
The vet wept right along with us and talked us through the whole thing.
It was heartbreaking but they were comforting.
Shadow had just been by my side during a recovery from a difficult knee replacement surgery. He never left me. He and I were bonded.
We had him cremated and will bring him back to the woods he loved.
What a beautiful end to this amazing animal.
The staff even send us a sympathy card, very nice and thoughtful touch.
